July 12 Chrstian Testimony-"Never going to Give Up" Deuteronomy 31:8 "And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." Joshua 1:5 "There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." 1 Chronicles 28:20 "And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD." Praise the Lord Saints, I salute you all in our Heavenly Father's most wonderful name. The best name that could ever roll off your tongues. Giving honour to my Heavenly Father, my brother Jesus and my best friend the Holy Spirit. True enough the strong get weak, and true enough the strong need motivation and encouragment. As I travel through God's word, well has he order my footsteps through his word. I have ran across several scriptures to remind time and time again that the lord will never leave me nor forsake me like man could and would. If he can be there for the prophets and the servants before me he will for sure be there for me. Sometimes I must confess I do get down, and I know this is not a spirit of the Lord, so I surrender this spirit and ask God in Jesus name to remind me that he is there with me walking side by side. He was a on time God for Abraham, Isaac, Moses and David. And I know for sure he is a on time God for us all. True we are not worthy of anything he has done for us, but being a true follower of his he will always and forever by there for us all, dont take my word for it try him for yourself. He has truly open doors and clears paths right in front of my own eyes, and he has continously moved yesterday today and tomorrow. So Saints when you get that feeling that you're alone, please remember he is there, and he has his loving arms around you. He is a On Time God, he may not come when you want him, but he will be there right on time. Dont lay down, Dont give up, just give it up to him and let him be about his work. As long as you stay in his will God will always take care of you. Remember to Praise-Pray-Glorify. (STILL AN OPEN INVITATION FOR THOSE THAT MAY NOT KNOW HIM). Thanks for reading. "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee. June 09 Uzziah The PariahReview: Uzziah did many good things as king (see 2 Chronicles 26:1-15), but his success apparently made him proud of himself instead of grateful to God. Reflect: Do you think Uzziah could have taken pleasure in his accomplishments without being sinful? If not, why not? If so, how? Can you take pleasure in your abilities and accomplishments without being prideful? If not, why not? If so, how? Pray: “God, I don't want to be like Uzziah. I don’t want to be ruined by pride. Help me to remember that no matter how well I do, I can still be humble and should always be grateful to you for any success I enjoy. . . .” Remember: “Pride ends in humiliation, while humility brings honor” (Proverbs 29:23, NLT). Most kids would be happy just to have clear skin and a driver’s license when they reach the age of sixteen. But Uzziah, he got to be king. That’s right, king! Palace, servants, throne, the works! Cool, huh? And he handled it pretty well for a while. He built things, he ran things, he decreed things--all the stuff a king’s supposed to be good at. Then one day something got into Uzziah. He knew that burning incense and offering sacrifices to God in the Temple could only be done by the priests, but he was king and figured he could pretty much do what he wanted. Maybe he liked the smell of incense. Maybe he thought he could do a better job than the priests. Maybe he got the idea from something he saw on TV. Or maybe he just thought, Hey, nobody can tell ME what to do--not even God! Anyway, Uzziah decided he was going to break the rules and show those priests who was boss. So headed to the Temple. Of course, kings never go anywhere alone--his Secret Service agents accompanied him, as well as his chief of staff and maybe even a few reporters. As he left the palace the royal trumpeters announced his departure. Tourists gathered to try to catch a glimpse of the young king, and a crowd quickly formed. Meanwhile, the priests (about eighty of them) heard he was coming and found out what he intended to do. The Bible says “they followed him in.” Several hundred people clogged the streets, whispering in shocked tones that the king wanted to burn some incense in the temple. Priests tried to talk him out of it, tourists tried to see him, guards tried to guard him, advisors tried to advise him, and Uzziah ignored all of them. He picked up the incense burner; the priests got more excited and their protests became louder and louder. Uzziah got angry. He turned and started yelling at the priests. “Who do you think you are to tell me what to do? I should have your heads cut off; no, I should have you smothered with honey and put on an anthill; no, I should have your hair dyed like Dennis Rodman’s; no, worse--I should make you listen to your parents’ radio station!” While he was raging, the Bible says, God got his attention. His skin started to bubble and flake, and within seconds his face was covered with scaly white patches--the telltale signs of leprosy! Suddenly the showdown ended. The priests rushed Uzziah from the Temple. He returned to the palace as a leper. He had to live in a separate house the rest of his life. He never again got to enter the temple, and his son took over his throne. Uzziah was even buried in a separate graveyard from the rest of his family because of his leprosy. All that happened because, “when [Uzziah] had become powerful, he also became proud” (2 Chronicles 26:16, NLT). Pride can make a mess of things. It can really mess up your judgment and make you do stupid things. It can ruin friendships. It can make you look silly. Being prideful never earned honor, respect, or friendship for anyone. In fact, it most often destroys those things--just like it did for Uzziah. May 01 1 John 5 11:12"And this is that testimony :
God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
He who possesses the Son has that life; he who does not possess the Son of God does not have that life. "
The Word of GodPsalm 119:11 says "I have hidden your word in my heart that i might not sin against you."
This is a key to living a new life in christ. We must read the word of God and learn to live our lives according to the word. The word reveals to us the person of Christ, in order that we may measure out conduct and character against His and allow God to shape us into true reflections of Christ. God's word is a powerful, , delivering agent. The one who merely, hears the word quickly forgets it; only the one who acts on the word and continues in it is truly blessed. God's word is the perfect law of liberty. It does not enslave us to the bondage of legalism, but frees us from the tyranny of sin, allowing our soul to be transformed for glory unto glory...
Bible memory verse: 'I have thought much about your words and stored them into my heart so that they would hold me back from sin..' (Psalm 119:11)
